Who can access my data?
Your data is yours, and our default is simple: we stay out of it.
Day to day, the Zo team does not look at your personal data. Your files, your chats, and your projects belong to you. There are rare cases where fixing a problem means we need to get closer, and here is exactly how that works.
When we might access your system
- System layer first. Whenever we can, we fix issues at the system layer, the machinery underneath your workspace, without opening your files at all.
- Workspace access, rarely. Some problems live inside your workspace itself, like a site or service that is misbehaving. In those cases, resolving the issue may require us to access it.
Our commitment
We only access your data when it is genuinely necessary to fix a problem. The engineers and agents who handle these situations are trained to do so with the utmost care.
